Halibut fishing as been excellent through the first half of the season and is expected to continue for the remainder of the season, which will be in October.
Chinook salmon fishing has been spotty, but that changed yesterday, with consistent fishing throughout the area with fish being caught into the mid 30’s. Hopefully this is the beginning of a large Chinook salmon run.
