Halibut Fishing – Victoria, B.C. to Sooke, B.C.

Yesterday was another beautiful day on the water fishing halibut. It was an early-morning tide but the fishing was excellent. We were fishing off Albert head in 310 feet of water. Quite a few dog sharks but we managed to fish through them. All of the fish were caught on Gibbs delta tackle using a white curly tail on a size 14 circle hook, with octopus.
